Background

I am a native Spanish speaker from Nicaragua. I received a B.A. in Major International Business and Marketing from San Francisco State University. I also studied at the International Trade Center in Geneva, Switzerland. I have traveled extensively through Central & South America and I have knowledge of cultural commonalities and differences throughout this region of the world. As such, I have a strong command of idioms, slang, and sayings from all Spanish-speaking, Latin American countries.

Experience

For the past 25 years, I have had professional experience with interpreting and translating as part of my personal business ventures in a variety of fields including real estate, mortgages, insurance and natural medicine. I have experience working with business partners in the U.S., Japan, and Europe. In 2014, I decided to pursure interpreting and translating full time. I have since provided consecutive interpreting, simultaneous interpreting, and sight translation services.
